My name is Claudia Adler.
I am a Montreal based freelance graphic and web designer, working out of my home office on Montreal’s west island overlooking my lovely garden. After 10 years of commuting to and from work, spending 2 hours per day in slow moving traffic, polluting the ambient air I feel free and happy as my own boss.

There are many advantages to being my own boss, excluding the option of working in my pajamas as it makes me less productive and is somewhat embarrassing when opening the door to the FedEx carrier.

I remember one of the Design Professors at UQAM telling us that design starts when you wake up and ends when you go to sleep. Now that I am my own boss I see what he meant, there is inspiration in everything. And while I tended to leave design behind when I left work to drive back home it is now all around me, constantly present.

To release the occasional sensual overload I like to see a movie, read a great book, listen to music, meditate or take pictures or dig in my garden.
